Attendees included our patron, Barry Dodd CBE (Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire) who gave a lovely speech and is to be applauded for taking the time to visit every table and speak with every person present - an amazing effort that was very much appreciated by all our guests.

Robert Goodwill MP (Minister of State for Children & Families and Member of Parliament for Scarborough & Whitby) who, along with his wife Maureen, joined the rest of our guests in being spellbound by a passionate talk delivered by our founder, Geoff Holt MBE, DL.

Scarborough Borough Mayor and Mayoress Cllr Martin and Cherry Smith opened the evening by saying grace and was noted by many to be very engaged in the Wetwheels Yorkshire project.

Thanks to all who attended our lovely event which raised an amazing £6899 which will fund many, many trips for the disabled and disadvantaged of Yorkshire in 2018.
